MOST VALUABLE PLAYER: Marvin Williams. What else can we say? The King of Jazzy Basketball, Marvin rules with a deft touch, especially around the basket. He's so cool.

DEFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE YEAR: Darko Milicic. Man he is a FUCKING MONSTER. Crazy how stocky he is. I think he'll hold up well going forward too, which is crazy.

MOST IMPROVED: Big Ray Ray. I tough on it in biggest surprise, but he really did take a nice step forward.

SIXTH MAN: Yaroslav Korolev, AKA the Red Hammer. Man, he is pretty decent! Does a bit of everything efficiently, which is awesome. Plus he's Darko's BFF!

BIGGEST SURPRISE: Big Ray Ray! He regressed in TC, but that regression weirdly helped him find his role and he got better basically across the board. Funny how you can take a step forward by simply doing less.

BIGGEST DISAPPOINTMENT: Probably the first half of the season? We rolled out with an outside offense that really underachieved. We switched to balanced when we were 22-22 and never looked back. Curious to see how good we are with a full season under our belt.

TRADE/ACQUISITION OF THE YEAR: Arnett Moultrie? I didn't really have any, and he was a surprisingly decent 4th big for a rookie!

REGRETS: Cap stuff... fear of losing players in the past cost me flexibility and we're still paying for it... we're really limited right now, which is not a fun spot to be. Things should get better next year, but it's tough.
Pokemon Master Rahsaan Roland Kirk. Yes.

MOST VALUABLE PLAYER: Dwyane Wade. <3. One of the best players in the league. I will check in on him like a lost love.

DEFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE YEAR: DWade. The man can do it all.

MOST IMPROVED: Tayshaun. Good surprise there. Got his boards and steals up while turnovers stayed super low. Pretty perfect wing.

SIXTH MAN: Weak bench last year. Michael Redd played well down the stretch as a super sub. Would have been interested to see how he did on the grizz over a longer time period.

BIGGEST SURPRISE: Kaman got way worse. I was hoping he could start.

BIGGEST DISAPPOINTMENT: Not even winning a game in the playoffs! I wanted to keep the squad together for one more run at it (w/o pau). We had a solid point differential but couldn't win games. 2012 felt like a wasted season for vancouver

TRADE/ACQUISITION OF THE YEAR: I was happy to trade RP and hibbert for oberto (who i think was a solid starter) and redd (good backup). Wasnt enough to even win a game against the nuggiez though. I thought hibbert on an mle was a good move.

REGRETS: I had another trade offer pre-draft that I probably should've taken :(

MOST VALUABLE PLAYER: Lou Will. He was an absolute stud scoring, positive stock:to ratio, and made his first all-star game. Love him.

DEFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE YEAR: Diop. He had another solid season, pulling down 12.1 boards and blocking 2.9 shots a game with an occasional steal while leaving the offense to the rest of the team. glad to have him back this season coming out of FA.

MOST IMPROVED: Kyrie. He still turns the ball over a lot, so hoping to see that improve, but he really stepped it up in scoring volume and improved his efficiency significantly with a jump to 46 FG% and just shy of 40 3P%, while also adding almost a half steal a game relative to his rookie season. really excited to see him continue to develop this season coming off of supercamp.

SIXTH MAN: Either Ibaka (post Solomon Jones trade) or Lowry. Really wish Ibaka was a little better rebounder but he's a great defender that did 4.1 stocks on a 36 minute basis relative to 0.9 turnovers. Lowry did a nice job running the second team too though - major improvements in efficiency (47.1% / 89.1% / 38.5%) and reduced turnovers (pretty close to 1:1 stock:to now)

BIGGEST SURPRISE: frankly thought we'd win a few more games. the Odom injury hurt but I also just didnt think enough about defense / rebounding, so the offense was amazing but really couldn't do anything to stop opposing teams.

BIGGEST DISAPPOINTMENT: Odom injury early in the season hurt - meant for him to be my super sub across the DC but went down and had to scramble.

TRADE/ACQUISITION OF THE YEAR: Dirk / Diop was my big move and had pretty mixed results. got us to the playoffs, which was fun, but as mentioned above, just didn't have enough defense / rebounding to be a real contender.

REGRETS: none really - was a fun season of trying to win and learned more about roster composition and trades

MOST VALUABLE PLAYER: Chris Bosh. #1 in BBs again and a two way stud. Not often you see an FBB big man who can get buckets (efficiently), block shots, and eat glass like that. I'll miss him

DEFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE YEAR: Chris Bosh. See above, #1 in BBs - elite rebounder and stock man

MOST IMPROVED: Jamal Crawford. Career year at age 32 last season to lead the league in scoring on absolutely insane true shooting efficiency

SIXTH MAN: Jaric? Idk our bench was awful

BIGGEST SURPRISE: Crawford's breakout. I always knew he was good, but to see him break out like that was a lot of fun

BIGGEST DISAPPOINTMENT: First round exit. Sad!

TRADE/ACQUISITION OF THE YEAR: I don't think we made any trades during the season

REGRETS: For like the fourth season in a row, not having enough time to improve my team cuz of work

MOST VALUABLE PLAYER: Eddy Curry. Think this was finally the year that Eddy surpassed Tmac. He is just so incredibly dominant and is elite at fouling out other bigs. His only flaw is his FT%, besides that he is perfcet.

DEFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE YEAR: Shaun Livingston. Very close between Tmac and Shaun but I honestky think that Shaun being arguably the best defensive PG in the league is a huge reason for our team success. We were all around pretty incredible defensively so it is hard to pick one guy.

MOST IMPROVED: Blake Griffin. Easy choice here. Blake came out of his supercamp perfectly sauteed. Put up great numbers and I am looking forward to seeing his offense continue to improve, hopefully.

SIXTH MAN: David Lee. Traded for him mid season for cheap and he was a really quality backup 4/5. Think everyone is aware by now that we are not particularly deep.

BIGGEST SURPRISE: Winning a chip! I thought we would have pretty good odds and be very competitive but it feels so good to get over the hump! Time to run it back.

BIGGEST DISAPPOINTMENT: The best center in the league not getting any All SLN recognition at end of season awards.

TRADE/ACQUISITION OF THE YEAR: Blake trade. EZ pick again as I didn't make many moves but this one single handedly won me the title and GMOTY!

REGRETS: N/A. We MFing champs bb

MOST VALUABLE PLAYER: Pretty weak crew to choose from but I guess Michael Redd before I traded him and Tim Duncan for the full season. Michael Redd Played a lot of super sub and started for a good bit, leading scorer at like 20 PPG. Tim Duncan when he wasn't inured played great with his rebounding ad blocks, and under 2 TPG for

DEFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE YEAR: Tim Duncan - he was a stud, 2.6 blocks and 0.6 steals. Runner up is Jae Crowder who did his thing as a rookie with an 8 steal game

MOST IMPROVED: N/A - we really had a ton of young guys and some aging vets. Maybe Trevor booker cuz he came from the NDL and didn't know how he was going to play or Garrett temple in his limited minutes giving us some steals and shooting 50% from the field

SIXTH MAN: Michael Redd - scored the ball a lot

BIGGEST SURPRISE: How efficient the rookies were. Harry Barnes, Jae Crowder, and Sato all were super efficient, with no one shooting below 44% from the field., and both crowder and barnes under 1.5 TPG as options

BIGGEST DISAPPOINTMENT: Not winning the draft lottery lol

TRADE/ACQUISITION OF THE YEAR: The RP from the Redd and David Lee trades helped me camp some guys

REGRETS: None - sometimes you just have to tank

MOST VALUABLE PLAYER: LeBron - Was the heart and soul of the squad once again. Finished with the best record in the East. Runner up in the 'chip once again but looking to get back this season.

DEFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE YEAR: LeBron with the most stocks but TOs were a bit high.

MOST IMPROVED: Hawes - put up numbers extremely comparable to Jermaine's with better shooting.

SIXTH MAN: Iggy. Proved to be a great supersub throughout the season, which kept is FG% higher than the previous season.

BIGGEST SURPRISE: Boozer still being a dominant force starting at the 4 all season.

BIGGEST DISAPPOINTMENT: Jermaine really seemed to regress in his Blocks and Boards

TRADE/ACQUISITION OF THE YEAR: Millsap. Truly believe we would not have had the success and made the run we did without Paul.

REGRETS: Trading for Shaun Livingston way back when just so he could beat us in the finals 😔

MOST VALUABLE PLAYER: Jimmy Butler... even when he wasn't supposed to be being valuable. Singlehandedly won us 3-4 games in the last 20 and probably lost us the tank race at the end of the year.

DEFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE YEAR: Jimmy, I guess. I'd be surprised if I didn't have the worst defensive team in the league. Total turnstiles across the board except for Jimmy.

MOST IMPROVED: Jimmy. See a pattern here? Took a big jump in year two. Hoping for another one year 3.

SIXTH MAN: David West. Started some of our games, but even on the bench was one of our best players.

BIGGEST SURPRISE: That I couldn't find a taker for David West at the trade deadline. Maybe I didn't look hard enough. But he played well and also probably was a reason we didn't win the tank race.

BIGGEST DISAPPOINTMENT: Reggie Jackson. Even after a +8 handles camp, turned it over way too much. Then he was shipped off as salary filler in an offseason trade. Best of luck, Big Government.

TRADE/ACQUISITION OF THE YEAR: Rudy Gay to the Pacers. Finally found the right home for Rudy, and he took his friends Mo and Evan with him. Probably held onto him for two long... by maybe like two seasons... but he was a fun player even at PF.

REGRETS: Not trading for more FRPs from other teams. Now I get why it's so valuable - it's because it gives you optionality to pursue both a tank or mortgage the future by keeping your own picks.

MOST VALUABLE PLAYER: Bobby Simmons, not from a statistical standpoint but I feel like whenever he is on the team he just fills in like a G.

DEFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE YEAR: Brook or Thabo. Brook went from 2.1bpg to 2.6bpg last year which is legit. Thabo is just lockdown.

MOST IMPROVED: Brook but i need to shut up so he keeps grinding. Tobi becoming an offensive juggernaut.

SIXTH MAN: Bobby? Thabo? Chandler? IDK i love all the bench role players i got in trades.

BIGGEST SURPRISE: Delfino is a bucket and I had no clue. Bayless started for one sim and was absurd. Bobby still got it. Lin was super fun. Blatche at the 4? CHANDLER AT THE 4!

BIGGEST DISAPPOINTMENT: Monta, Von, Deng, Starbury.

TRADE/ACQUISITION OF THE YEAR: Trading Blake was one thing. Trading Monta though is where this team changed the most. Being able to be a big enough asshole to get Lin was a huge win. Being gifted Thabo in that trade was legit as well. Jesse giving me Delfino made me ectastic.

REGRETS: Who knows. but atm NONE

MOST VALUABLE PLAYER:

Jameer Nelson. My man is so fucking good. From his MVP season a year ago, he upped his scoring average, his fg%, 3fg%, stayed fairly even on turnovers, his mpg, and played all 82. Get ready for some numbers: 26.8ppg on 50/50/91 shooting. If he improves his 3fg% by the same year over year he did last season, he'd set the regular season record mark. All I wish is that he would shoot more, for the love of god.

DEFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE YEAR:

Dwight Howard. Kind of a down season after setting the blocks record in '11, but he still put up 4 stocks per game and solid rebounding numbers, helping lead us to one of the best ofg% numbers and largest rebound differentials. He was limited to a degree by what seemed like a ton of ticky-tack injuries that kept his minutes down last season. Hopefully we see a rebound this year.

MOST IMPROVED:

Al Horford. This is fun! Al became a legit rebounder last year, breaching 12 per 36 for the first time in his career. While his 3pfg% went down year over year, the volume continued to creep up. He is going to be a legit star, and I am so excited that this only constitutes 6/9 of his offseason 3pt improvements.

SIXTH MAN:

Mo Williams. Steady as always as a 1-2 super sub, we salute you, Mo Will. Someone rescue him from Cleveland - you get his bird rights!

BIGGEST SURPRISE:

Ben Gordon. He was great in the Portland Memorial Gunner SG role formerly occupied by Michael Redd, Cuttino Mobley, Allan Houston, Isaiah Rider, etc etc. His volume slightly declined from his time in Cleveland, but his efficiency went the other direction, and he finished the year slashing 47/43/92.

BIGGEST DISAPPOINTMENT:

Nikola Mirotic. I hoped he'd play a useful role, but it didn't really come to pass. This might have contributed to me dumping his salary for nothing... Only time will tell if that was a mistake.

TRADE/ACQUISITION OF THE YEAR:

Ben Gordon. Really nice to add him for Michael Redd who seemed to completely die for basically a first, all while saving the money that allowed us to bring back Lifetime Trailblazer Mike Dunleavy.

REGRETS:

We really skirted the stars and scrubs thing last year which ultimately cost us in G7 against Houston with all kinds of losers getting real minutes. I probably should have tried harder to move Marion last offseason, which maybe wins us that series. Idk. Given that Houston won the title, it feels like a pretty big what if.
