Strengths: Good slasher with a very good jump shot. Great at creating turnovers. Good quickness and strength. Very good rebounder at the 2. Decent vision.
Weaknesses: Range needs work. Positional defense is a bit lacking, but not unredeemable.
Scout's Take: Caron Butler has the tools to be a very good two-way guard. Should produce quality offense along with potentially being one of the league leaders in steals. Add his high rebounding at the 2, and you have the recipe for a very good starter.
