JWoo Tong Merv Nick and Jordo shoot the shit on Tuesday night. I had to learn how to use this Podbean app because Spotify is stupid, so a little bit of random chatter before we start lol

Ya your theories were largely correct on my logic for the Kyrie trade. Having my picks split across the Magic and Suns in alternating years made it tough for me to fully tank. But also Kyrie’s stip was frankly just stressing me out because it makes it tough to really plan and figure out a team over time. He won’t show up if you get bounced out of the playoffs, which in turn makes it harder to make the playoffs the next year and I’ve been on a downward spiral since the Finals loss in 2013.

With Jrue I can try to keep up a somewhat competitive team to get through some of these years without my picks. I also think there’s still upside in Barnes by virtue of his notes that pretty strongly suggested he’d be a late bloomer. And with Jrue being the second best PG in the league, I still have a second way out to get picks back trading him away if things look dire.

Jazz got their shine! Yay! I agree with Nick to an extent. A lot rides on Oden and Al. They've been pretty efficient so far, so I have hope!
