TL;DR - free RPs for a quick post!

Get these done before the tip of next season!

Every year, every GM's got his studs and it's duds, his craftiest moves and most embarrassing flops. For 75RPs, fill out the answers to the following questions and post it in the thread - think of these as your post-season Dundies, awarding each of the first 4 to players on your team, and then reflect on some of the key moments from your year. Post these whenever! Just get em done before sim 1. Offseason questionnaire will be posted later on.

Once you've posted, DO NOT claim your RP in the RP thread - we will calculate at the end.

TEAM AWARDS

MOST VALUABLE PLAYER:
Stephen Curry. 3rd team All SLN and 2nd team All Defense. Would’ve put up some truly wild numbers I think if I had more of a shot funnel. He’s everything that was advertised

DEFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE YEAR:
Kawhi Leonard. Single handedly got us out of the Boston series with multiple 5+ steal games. HM Eddy Curry

MOST IMPROVED:
Devin Booker. Super camp into Super TC led to an absolute explosion and the founding of the Splash Mountain Bros (h/t Matt)

SIXTH MAN:
Al Horford. Crushed it in a 3/4/5 super sub role. Had a fantastic season and brought a variety of skills to the table. HM Jeremy Lamb, boy was he nice

BIGGEST SURPRISE:
Jeremy Lamb. Acquired for 50 RP hoping he’d play some decent minutes then he dropped a 50/45/90 season as backup 1/2

BIGGEST DISAPPOINTMENT:
Julius Randle not resigning

TRADE/ACQUISITION OF THE YEAR:
Steph Curry is probably the real answer but Jeremy Lamb for 50 RP was easily my best value deal

REGRETS:
I guess my game 7 DC but it seemed the sim was Anti Magic with that many turnovers

WARRIORS TEAM AWARDS

MOST VALUABLE PLAYER: Jabari Parker
My mans was shooting 50/40/90 at the 4 for most the season. Im stuck w a choice this offseason but unless someone rips him away he is getting the bag. Bari was/is/continues to be the Bay.

DEFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE YEAR: Jayson Tatum
In a tertiary role as a starter Tatum was holding his own on a nightly basis against premier SFs in the league. Muscala/Oladipo/JRich/Parker were close as ALL set new game-highs in steals on multiple occasions.

MOST IMPROVED: Josh Richardson
Accepting a backup role and thriving shows real character from our 3&D wing. He improved his shooting to a ridiculous level and did not disappoint defensively either. The Bay Loves JRich.

SIXTH MAN: 3 way tie: Larry Nance Jr., Josh Richardson, Matthew Dellevadova
By the third sim the past two seasons i realize im not playing Nance enough. Dude plays up a position regularly and consistently does well. JRich can start or be a backup wing and thrive. Every time Delly had to replace Dinwiddie mid-sim, my guy would drop 30+ on opposing teams.

BIGGEST SURPRISE: Delly / Dinwiddie / JRich
Everyone keeps telling me i need a PG and my only response has been I GOT TWO. I think both can be winning players sooner rather than later and prove the haters wrong. JRich shooting as well as he did and having an amazing TC is not what I expected but im down for more if he wants.

BIGGEST DISAPPOINTMENT: Domantas Sabonis
I get it, i took him from the 2nd option at PF to making him play C. I just didnt expect to see his numbers completely drop off after a near ROY showing. Im hoping it was just a blip on the radar because he has been part of the core since he was drafted. I believe in you Sabonis, future 1st team All-SLN.

TRADE/ACQUISITION OF THE YEAR: STEVEN ADAMS
Usually i make a trade and Jesse says some sus shit that brings me down but when i read his thoughts on Adams i could care less. First sim as a Warrior he gets a POTG lmao. He got boards, he got blocks, his turnovers were lowish but most of all HE BROUGHT THE VIBES. I wish Trey Lyles the best in Boston but we got our guy in Adams.

REGRETS: Id probs go back and just camp Sabonis but here we are. Maybe starting Nance wouldve been a solid try. Also just being too pussy for not trying Muscala as backup 1-5.
8-) Santa Cruz Warriors NDL Champs: 8-)

TEAM AWARDS

MOST VALUABLE PLAYER: LeBron. He's still the best player in the league despite my DC decisions throughout the year. He will be on the block this season for the right price.

DEFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE YEAR: Monta. Filled in CP3s slot nicely and kept the level of defense up.

MOST IMPROVED: Will Barton. Didnt get too much PT throughout the year but showed out at the end of the season.

SIXTH MAN: Ariza. He filled in for Bron in a huge way down the stretch and actually secured our spot in the playoffs.

BIGGEST SURPRISE: CP3 was actually pretty dope at the 2.

BIGGEST DISAPPOINTMENT: Nic Batum. Wasn't anything special and missed a lot of shots.

TRADE/ACQUISITION OF THE YEAR: Monta. Even though we take on another year of his contract compared to CP3s, he was dope down the stretch and made it a real series in round 1 against the knicks.

REGRETS: Trading a FRP for Batum.

MOST VALUABLE PLAYER: Kristaps. He is at age 23 an efficient scorer and good rebounder. Hope he keeps getting better

DEFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE YEAR: Capela. In his second season post-supercamp, he is getting nearly 3 boards a game and 12 rebounds. What I was hoping for when i drated him.

MOST IMPROVED: Kristaps as a result of the supercamp. Went from a useless bench player to a good starter.

SIXTH MAN: Oubre was a really good backup 1-2 throughout the season. Good scoring, rebounds for the position, and stock:turnovers

BIGGEST SURPRISE: Oubre! He's ready for minutes, and think he can become a starter when CJ or thabo start dying (hopefully not soon)

BIGGEST DISAPPOINTMENT: injuries in the WCF to my 2nd string players, but at least I can blame them for losing!

TRADE/ACQUISITION OF THE YEAR: Resigning thabo to a 2 year sub max deal. Thabo is the glue guy with the league-leading efficiency, 1 topg with a+ defense. Love him.

REGRETS: None

TEAM AWARDS

MOST VALUABLE PLAYER: Christian Wood aka Mr 6th Man of the Year. Great shooting splits, solid rebounds, some stocks, and still on 23 years old!

DEFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE YEAR: Jarrett Allen. Big boy in the middle swatted over a shot a game! He was the enforcer of our cupcake team.

MOST IMPROVED: C Wood. Nice jump in efficiency and PPG in year 3 for the lad.

SIXTH MAN: C Wood. 6th man of the year himself!! Played most of the year as the 3/4 backup and thrived. #26 on the Le Merv scale, aka 26th best player in the league

BIGGEST SURPRISE: TJ Warren was surprisingly useful. Sebastian Telfair was also a decent game manager PG. They should have been depth pieces on winning teams.

BIGGEST DISAPPOINTMENT: Pascal Siakam. He's only half baked (s/o Ben&Jerrys) so there's still time for him to reach his full potential. But for the time being he stinks. Can't shoot, turns it over all the time, and minimal stocks. Not great Bob!

TRADE/ACQUISITION OF THE YEAR: Turning expiring Tim Hardaway and Kendrick Perkins into Kings 23 FRP and Atl 22 FRP.

MOST VALUABLE PLAYER: Boogie Cousins. He unfortunately got Boban'd in the Finals, but he had an incredible season and really carried us for a lot of it, coming off a down year it was great to see him kind of take off.

DEFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE YEAR: DeAndre Jordan, he was literally the DPOY, think he's got a good case as the best defensive big in the league and am lucky to have him sub-max for the next few seasons.

MOST IMPROVED: Boogie - raised his FG% from 44.7% to 49.8% on more attempts while playing the entire season as top option. Career year for him.

SIXTH MAN: Kevon Looney, he was the primary constant off the bench all season and provided excellent cover for Boogie and DJ, hoping for a cheap re-sign from him next year since he probably has like 5 inside scoring.

BIGGEST SURPRISE: Tony Parker turning back the clock, he was pretty ass for the first like 40 days of the season but finished with a vintage TP slash line and was really vital to our success once he got going.

BIGGEST DISAPPOINTMENT: Losing Game 7 of the Finals, particularly losing it with an injured Korolev - the Suns are fantastic and I had no shame/regrets losing to them in the Finals, but it did suck to not have a full complement in the decisive game. We also frustratingly dropped three home games in that series which also really sucked, but FBB gonna FBB, at least we forced a Game 7 and made it fun.

TRADE/ACQUISITION OF THE YEAR: The only trade I really made was grabbing Paul George and Gary Harris, which was consciously a slight overpay in terms of picks, but ultimately those guys helped get us one game away from a title and played useful roles off the bench down the stretch. Felt like I had to take a risk considering it was probably the final season with Tony Parker and was satisfied with the results.

REGRETS: I wish I had an opportunity to squeeze a bit more out of PG, but didn't have a lot of time to experiment in midst of contention. Otherwise none, it was a really awesome season for us, hoping to build on it and continue to tinker with the roster.

MOST VALUABLE PLAYER: Tyus Jones, has turned into a much better player that his draft notes indicated. Could also give the nod to KLove who was 2nd team all league.

DEFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE YEAR: Our defense was kind of ass, Hump has a nice 3:1 stock/to, and Tyus averaged almost 2 stls per game.

MOST IMPROVED: Tyus for reasons stated above. Really solid first full year as a starter.

SIXTH MAN: I really liked what Jaylen Brown did when he moved into the super sub role.

BIGGEST SURPRISE: Shabazz's regression.

BIGGEST DISAPPOINTMENT: Shabazz, after getting a near max deal he seemed to regress, was fine shipping him out the door just didnt like giving two picks to do it.

TRADE/ACQUISITION OF THE YEAR: Beasley if he re-signs, please please SLN gods

REGRETS: Shabazz contract

TEAM AWARDS

MOST VALUABLE PLAYER: Boban!! I was nearly certain that I would have buyers remorse after this trade and Jesse was working DC magic to make him thrive. Turns out Boban is just actually unbelievable and can carry the load as the best player on a championship team.

DEFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE YEAR: Julian Wright! 3 stocks on the wing at flat A defense and he never shoots. C+ defense at shooting guard is just the cherry on top. His humble resigning of $1M/year is the whip cream.

MOST IMPROVED: Ummm, Marquese Chriss? He jumped to A- defense, B rebounding made him an awesome combo forward. He was a fun piece to move around in the playoffs depending on the matchup. Excited to give the 20 year old 16 more RC points!

SIXTH MAN:
DWIGHT HOWARD! His contract is long and girthy but he was so good off the bench! 3+ stocks, A- rebounding, 47% from the floor at the 3-5 supersub, he was the key to covering up Boban and Jokic's defensive deficiencies and really unlocked the ability to run inside.

BIGGEST SURPRISE: Winning the title! It took a good amount of luck, winning 4 game 7s, 3 on the road and each opponent having a rotation player or better injured in game 7. I was shocked we beat the Mavs. I have the utmost respect for that team and slaying the Kyrie dragon on the road was shocking, honestly.

BIGGEST DISAPPOINTMENT: Our regular season record! I messed around with my DC and put Dwight as the 2-5 super sub, Thad Young got injured 5 minutes into a 10 day sim and Dwight played 40+ minutes at shooting guard in like 7 games lmao. This roster was constructed for the playoffs but I was surprised we only won 53 games.

TRADE/ACQUISITION OF THE YEAR: Boban!!! 3 pistons futures and pick 13 in the 2017 draft, Justice Winslow and Buddy Hield felt like a steep price but ultimately totally worth it. Banners fly forever!

REGRETS: Zero!
