Centers
Shaquille O'Neal - The Big Aristotle is a dominant scorer with incredible rebounding and strength. Terrible free throw shooter. Very good shotblocker and defender. Will have some turnover problems. Should be a force for a long time.
Hakeem Olajuwon - Dream is my favorite player of all time. He is amazing. Can score, shoot, and is quite possible the best defensive player in the file. Will turn it over a bit and his rebounding is on the lower end of the elite big men but trust me when I say he makes up for it. He will play until at least age 39.
David Robinson - The Admiral is a strong inside scorer with a decent jump shot. Very good defensive rebounder and defender. Very good shotblocker and might get a steal as well. Some turnover issues.
Dikembe Mutombo - Excellent defensive big man who blocks shots and boards very well. Solid scorer on the inside with a decent jump shot. A bit on the lower end of strength for the top big men.
Patrick Ewing - Very good scorer that will block shots and rebound pretty well. Strong and a good jump shot. Will turn the ball over a few times. Not especially quick.
Alonzo Mourning - A very good big man with some upside left. Good inside scorer that can block shots and pressure opposing big men. On the lower end of rebounding for elite big men and his jump shot is only decent.
Vlade Divac - Pretty good big man that was not worth being traded for Kobe. Decent scoring ability, some shotblocking, and solid rebounding. Good strength and good court vision for a big man.
Arvydas Sabonis - Decent scoring big man who shoots the ball pretty well. Will take some 3s. Not very quick. Decent shotblocking and rebounding, but some handling issues. Very strong.
Marcus Camby - Good defensive big man with upside. Blocks some shots and has a decent jump shot. Has the quickness to guard 4s as well. Not very strong. Rebounding needs a bit of work.
Theo Ratliff - Think of a slower Camby with slightly better rebounding. Takes care of the ball pretty well. Good upside.
Rik Smits - Really strong big man with very good inside scoring. Might block a shot a game. Nothing special on the defensive end or on the boards but will score the ball. Very good mid range game.
Power Forwards
Karl Malone - Incredible scorer. Dominant post moves and a very good jump shot. Very strong. Excellent defensive rebounder, not so much on the offensive boards. Pretty quick for his size. Not great on the defensive end but should get some steals. Decent passing for a big man.
Chris Webber - Another one of my favorite players. Very good scorer on the inside. Decent jump shot, but might take too many 3s. Good quickness, excellent passing, and a very strong rebounder. Not great at defense but will get some blocks and steals. Good upside.
Charles Barkley - Very strong inside scorer. Excellent rebounder. Should get some steals. Has transitioned from athletic Charles to fat Charles but should still be a very good player.
Ben Wallace - Defense and rebounding. That's all he's going to do. Terrible scorer and free throw shooter. Takes care of the ball, good quickness for a big man. Will need some time to develop but should become an elite defensive big man in the future.
Antoine Walker - Could potentially become a very fun player. Solid scoring base. Good rebounder and probably good for a block and steal a game. Strong. Some handling issues. Can play SF. Good upside.
Dennis Rodman - No offensive game. Very good positional defender. Decent handles. Best pure rebounder in the file. Should go without saying, but he is maxed there.
Rasheed Wallace - Polarizing big man that may frustrate you with his shot selection. Not a particularly good shooter, but will take shots. Good scoring around the basket. Solid shotblocking, defense, and rebounding. Smart with the ball other than chucking it up a bit too much. Good upside.
Antonio McDyess - Good scorer with decent shotblocking and rebounding. Some handling issues. Decent jump shot. Good upside.
Shawn Kemp - Strong, explosive leaper. Decent jump shot, might take some 3s. Good for some blocks and steals. Strong defensive rebounder. Very turnover prone.
Jermaine O'Neal - Pretty raw, but the talent is there. Decent inside scoring, shotblocking, and rebounding. Some handling issues. Good quickness. Good upside.
Small Forwards
Kevin Garnett - Amazing talent. Decent scoring all-around, good defender with some steals and blocks. Good quickness and strength, decent handling and a pretty good rebounder. Can play PF. Good upside.
Kobe Bryant - A bit raw, but he's Kobe. Will probably need a few seasons to develop, but should become a dominant SF/SG. Does a little bit of everything right now. Good upside.
Grant Hill - Pretty good scorer who rebounds very well. Good athleticism. Very good court vision. Handling issues. Good upside.
Scottie Pippen - Very good all-around ratings. Scores well, passes well, decent handles, decent rebounding. Excellent defender who will get steals. A little on the weaker side for a 3.
Jamal Mashburn - Good scoring. Strong. Not especially remarkable anywhere, but will be a good starter. Might get a steal a game.
Michael Finley - Similar to Mashburn, just a little more quickness and a little less strength. 3P needs some work. Good upside.
Robert Horry - Good shooter. Decent quickness and strength that will provide some rebounds. Good all-around defender that will get some steals and blocks. Can play PF.
Rick Fox - Pretty solid all-around. Some scoring, some rebounding. Should get a few steals a game. Will probably be a pretty good 4th or 5th starter, maybe sixth man.
Larry Johnson - Good inside scorer. Very strong. Good athleticism and handling. Quick enough to play the 3, but strong enough to play the 4. Rebounds well. Not a great shooter. Solid defense in all areas, but not great anywhere. Can play PF.
Chris Mullin - Very good shooter. Will get some steals. Good defender. Decent playmaking ability, but not especially strong or quick. Probably a good starter for a few seasons.
Glenn Robinson - Big Dog can score. He can board as well. That's pretty much it. Never going to be much of a defender, though he may get some steals. Handling is a bit of a concern. Good upside.
Glen Rice - Excellent scorer and shooter. Decent handling and quickness but no defense to speak of. Not a good rebounder.
Jalen Rose - Okay all-around. Decent strength and athleticism. Some steals. Needs a few years to develop. Good upside.
Juwan Howard - Good inside scorer with a good jump shot. Strong. Rebounds well. Below-average quickness. Some handling concerns. Not a great defender but will get a steal or so. Can play PF.
Shooting Guards
Michael Jordan - The GOAT. Amazing scorer. Only slight weak point to his game is 3P shooting. Excellent defender, good court vision, solid rebounding. Not much else to say. If he's drafted by Washington, he'll rename them to the Wizards for some reason. If he remains with his original team and retires, that team may bring him back from retirement one time on a two-year, $20M per year deal.
Reggie Miller - Great scorer. Elite jump shot and 3P shot. Quick and takes care of the ball. Won't provide anything on the defensive end, maybe a steal. Not much of a rebounder either.
Clyde Drexler - Very similar to Scottie Pippen, just a little smaller. Good scoring, great defense. Will get steals. Can rebound pretty well for his position.
Ray Allen - Raw, but built in the same vein as the Glen Rice/Reggie Miller types except rebounds decently for a SG. Good handles and quickness. Needs a bit to develop, but should become a very good scorer. Good upside.
Mitch Richmond - Forever ingrained in my mind as Snitch Bitchmond thanks to a different league I ran. Great scorer that plays a decent defense and gets some steals. Will have handle issues.
Eddie Jones - Good shooter. Very good on the defensive end, will get steals. Great athleticism. Not especially strong, but rebounds okay for his position. Might need a little work on handles.
Kerry Kittles - Lot of promise as a two way guard. Good jump shot. Will get steals. Needs to hit the weights and not a good rebounder. Good handles and quickness. Good upside.
Latrell Sprewell - Pretty good scorer. Great defender that will get steals and maybe a block a game. Good quickness, rebounds well, and has good court vision. Serious handling issue.
Jerry Stackhouse - Strong leaper with solid finishing ability. Good jump shot. Good strength and can rebound pretty well. Not especially quick and nothing to write home about on the defensive end. Will need work on his handles.
Allan Houston - Very good shooter. Below-average everywhere else. Probably needs to be in an outside-centric team to shine. Decent handles and quickness. Good upside.
Point Guards
Allen Iverson - Despite being one of the smallest guys on the court, The Answer finds a way to score inside right up there with the best of them. Will be an absolute prolific scorer and is already one of the best pickpockets in the game. 3P is still developing. Rebounds incredibly well for his size. Probably the always going to be the fastest guy on the court. Major handling issue. Good upside.
John Stockton - Best passer in the game. Great shooter. Doesn't score much from inside 18 feet, however. Good defender who will get steals. Poor rebounder. Pretty good handles but will probably still turn it over a few times a game.
Gary Payton - Best defender at his position. Might lead the league in steals. Quick, good vision, and a good rebounder. Strong for his size. Not a great shooter. Won't be a big time scorer but will make up for it with defense. Decent handles.
Damon Stoudemire - Pretty good scorer. Incredibly quick. Good rebounder for his size. Should get some steals. Handles need work. Good upside.
Kevin Johnson - Excellent scorer. Great finisher. Good shooter. Solid defender and rebounder. Will have some turnover issues.
Steve Nash - Great jump shot. 3P still developing. Very good court vision. Not a good defender or rebounder. Should become one of the top PGs in the league. Good upside.
Nick Van Exel - Pretty good scorer, but only a solid 3P shooter. Very good quickness. Should get a steal a game. Not a good rebounder and handles need work.

Jason Kidd - Very raw offensively. Jump shot needs work. 3P needs a lot of work. Excellent court vision. Great defender. One of the best rebounding guards in the league. Very strong for a guard. Handles need work. Good upside.
Penny Hardaway - Good size, strength, and athleticism. Decent scoring but 3P needs work. Still developing in passing and defense, but will get some steals. Handles are solid, could be good with some work. Good rebounder. Good upside.
Stephon Marbury - Makings of a really good scoring PG. Pretty quick, strong for his size, and solid court vision. Still pretty raw, not a great defender or rebounder. Handles need work. Good upside.
Tim Hardaway - Good scorer, good steals, decent rebounding. Handles aren't great. Probably a pretty good starter for a few years.
