Free Agent Sleepers/Breakout Candidates
I'm poor and need RP so Jarred Vanderbilt can be strong. Since Orlando likely won't have the use of our MLE and there's no nibbles on the trade front, I figured why not give the league some fun content of guys that I think are intriguing FA targets that could break out in a new situation. The rules for this group, they can't have played more than 25 MPG in either of the last two seasons. There's no particular order to this as I had Free Agents sorted by position.

The supposed #1 sign and trade target in free agency has only ever recorded 1 double double in 3 seasons, never playing more than 22 MPG. The reason? He literally never shoots and is the 2019 version of Diop. His butt is huge but he probably got a BBL in Canada because the rebounds aren’t quite Diop level. I wish he could come to Orlando and force Steph and Book to shoot more, but alas...hard caps. Expect him to catch a max or near max number in order to pry him from Jwoo.

Grain God Jr. has always had some really sexy ratings to go with subpar handles. However, how many guys out there have A- or better shooting with + rebounding? The list is pretty short and Glen Jr. has never really gotten a chance to prove what he can do since his first two promising seasons in Toronto. For an MLE or LLE dart throw, I think you could do way worse and there's a decent chance you'll be quite pleased.

Kelly Oubre Jr.

Per 36: 16.8 PTS 9.0 REB 1.2 AST 1.6 STL 0.8 BLK
Kelly had a breakout season last year as an 6-7th man for the Grizzlies shooting percentages well above his B+ outside rating. The shooting came a bit more back to earth this season but the defense and rebounding is really intriguing. Josh won't be able to keep everyone and there's a looming Brandon Ingram max on the horizon so I think Oubre could be quite poachable. He could be the perfect target for something like the Hornets did last year with the 3 year Marcus Smart deal of locking in a guy above the MLE with some late career upside/development for a team that isn't trying to compete right away.

I've long felt Iman was pretty interesting and could play a role for the right squad, sadly I could never really find proper burn for him after trading him in my tank. Crazy to think he was uncamped and what could've been had he gotten some earlier love. Iman feels like 75% Thabo Sefolosha to me and should be worthy of playing minutes somewhere. He's got career highs of 33 points and 8 steals so there's definitely a nice high end there if someone can figure out how to keep the turnovers from skyrocketing.
Ben McLemore

Jeremy Lamb 2.0? I tried to make him Jeremy Lamb 0.5 but Wes backed out of a trade and crushed my hopes. Flat A shooting with C+ inside is really intriguing especially for someone who could play a 6th man type of role. McLemore had a nice playoff run for the Hawks in the Mitten's absence and at one point was Out-Lambing Lambo. A career .466/.421/.848 shooter, he should be a nice LLE flier for a team that typically struggles to fill out their roster.

Andrew Harrison

The better Harrison? After a nice NDL career, Andrew boasts some fun ratings to go with the NDL pot boosts with +6 in camps remaining. There are bones here of a solid backup fill-in starter type PG. Hope he isn't a guy that just falls off the face of the earth. Could see him having a Reece Gaines-like career if the dice rolls fall his way. I'd rather swing on a guy like Harrison than Avery Bradley (they named the Bradley Tank after this guy)
