Couldn’t afford to keep everyone - Manu was due his supermax and the only reason we kept the core as long as we did was because manus rookie deal was sub-max. Could maybe have tried to squeeze one more year? Barely a market for any of my guys at the time (if you recall my complaining) so retooling offers weren’t aplenty
