Sonics have been completely awal on the content front and are middling in mediocrity. Not bad enough to be bad, not good enough to be good. No interesting prospects but they have gotten future capital and did a podcast.

Warriors had a wild wild offseason of activity and have been posting on the boards a bit this season, an uptick in activity probably takes them out of contention.

My vote goes to either the Bucks or the Hornets. The bucks sold KD went straight into the tank and haven’t done an article or podcast this season and almost no posts. Hornets sold everyone and haven’t done an article or a pod either. Low posting’s and activity have these two GMs atop the polls.

My Flacco punishment vote this year is to videotape a beer mile of themselves at their local track. They must also eat a Donut cheeseburger before hand. Punishment for not doing it would be -1500 RP and loss of their next FRP. Completion of the task results in 1000 RP, 2x their next article and pod (done within the next season) a compensatory FRP pick (number 30 overal) in next years draft.
How on earth am I not the favorite for this award

RT we were definitely contenders (front runners?) as well

Voted for JWOO. Strong season capped by a big boi deadline TP acquisition. Whatever DC sorcery Woo conjured to generate all those wins in Toronto I think also must be roped into the GMOY resume. I don't think one can dispute that Jwoo maximized his roster in a manner to which we all aspire while also making smart moves to add to said roster. If you do that while winning 63 games you have a slam dunk GMOY imho

Runner up for me is Ralphy who is back to his Midwest dominating ways with Jameer at the helm

Voted for Jere. Unfortunate for the Jazz that this season, which is certainly worth of GMOTY consideration, happens to coincide with Woo's season, which I think edges out Ralph's campaign by a small margin. Both GMs had awesome seasons and think Ralph would have been the slam dunk winner in any of the last 3 seasons, but there can be only one winner and I think it has to be Jwoo - I am still astonished at how many games they won post Livingston injury

Voted JWoo.

Planned on voting for his team before the TP trade. Saw his team one day and realized the crazy depth he created and implemented a great DC.

Voted for woo for many of the same reasons others mentioned. I too had a lot of questions about what made the Raptors so effective defensively, and I'm still not sure I have the answer, but the sample size is too large now (multiple seasons) for it to be flukey - some DC alchemy up north, credit where credit is due. TP trade was the perfect solution to an unfortunate (and otherwise crippling) injury, and while I wasn't a huge Boogie fan in LA, he seems to have fit very well with this roster.

Honorable mention to Ralph for assembling a juggernaut, shoutout to Jordo and the Spurs for trading away their best players and retooling to get to 51 wins, and Tonger for both procuring a superstar for pennies on the dollar that definitely put the Pacers over the top.

Tough call.

Jwoo is the run away winner for Coach of the Year -- eeking out 63 wins with a hurt Point Guard and finding deals for Jordan, Parker, Cousins, et al.

Ralph has by far the best team in the league and it's not close. Two moves he made this year - signing Deng, trading peanuts for Nelson - direclty pushed the team from the midpack to the top.

Idk!

Addiitonal shouts to Jordo for retooling and getting better. Tonger for being a beast. Nav for kicking ass.

Voted for Jwoo, his unsuspecting team has been dominant the past two years. Even with arguably his best player going down he was able to continue leading the East. He then decided to make a move for a better PG to see where his team could ultimately go. Fun season in Toronto.

Shoutout to the Jazz, Pacers, and Mavs who all made great moves this season to set themselves up for continued success.

Voted for the Woo man. The Raptors are sick and he made moves to deal with a tough injury. Impressive work and good luck in the rest of the playoffs!

Voted for Woo. Awesome season from him to manage 60+ wins with this squad despite the Livingston injury. Created tons of value along the way

Ralph was a close second, he had a really great year too and respected his conviction in Deng despite the doubters (myself included)

Voted for JWoo as well. Love the Boogie trade, the TP trade, and the smaller deals here in there. But most importantly, the DC Wizardry was off the charts this season especially after Livingston went down. The year over year improvement was basically the same but what JWoo did to manage the same year over year success was very impressive.
