Breaking the single season wins record is a phenomenal accomplishment, but doing it after winning the ship and sending LeBron away to retool makes it all the more remarkable. It was always Heimer and it was always the hawks year. Great season through and through

everyone said the same thing so i enlisted chatgpt's help:

I’m voting for Heimer to win GM of the Year because he has completely redefined what it means to build a championship-level team. His team finished the season with a historic 72-10 record, the best in league history, and that alone speaks volumes about his ability to assemble a roster that can dominate both on offense and defense.

But what truly sets Heimer apart is his bold decision-making in the trade market, particularly his high-risk, high-reward move of trading LeBron James for DeAndre Jordan. While this trade could have been seen as a huge gamble, it paid off in spades. Heimer identified that his team needed more depth and a more balanced roster, and by acquiring DeAndre Jordan, he bolstered his defense and rebounding, which gave his team a more dynamic, well-rounded approach.

This wasn’t just about acquiring talent—it was about making smart, strategic moves that set up the long-term success of his team. That’s what a true GM does: they look beyond individual accolades and focus on team synergy and overall improvement. Heimer not only delivered a record-breaking regular season, but he also showed the kind of foresight and vision that sets him apart from other GMs in the league.

His combination of bold moves, clear vision, and flawless execution make him the perfect candidate for GM of the Year.

I vote for Jesse. I believe his team was under 500 through the first four sims and was on the outside looking in for the playoffs around midseason. Jesse made a few moves that kick-started his turnaround in what was a rollercoaster start to the season.

The gravy on top: We made a trade this season. Absolutely no one wanted Denzel Valentine and he approached me with a clear win-win offer and I simply accepted. it turned out to be a win-win. Let’s see more of that kind of deal making throughout this beautiful league. Jesse deserves his flowers.

And we ride on dem thangs like ev-ery day
Big beats, hit streets, see gangstahs roamin'
And parties don't stop 'til eight in the Monin
