2021-22 Offseason Questionnaire
1. Draft thoughts? Sleepers, busts, your draft, other drafts, whatever.
I like Jalen Duren's ceiling as a 19 year old big starting off with B Inside / B Rebounding, and he went +2 defense in TC. Need him & my NDL prospects to be solid as I have no more picks until the 2026 draft
2. How do you feel about your offseason, and what are your goals for this coming season?
I'm sure the Spida trade raised some eyebrows, but I think Trae has a nice ceiling as a young PG that already has B inside and has shown the ability to score 30ppg. Jimmy should be a great stand-in this season while Trey Murphy marinates in the NDL. Hopefully I can make the playoffs this season...
3. Thoughts on TC?
TC was solid. I think no one went negative and there were some gains with SGA +1 to A defense, Big Mac +1 to A defense and +2 to B+/B scoring, Brooks +1 to A- defense, and Jalen Duren +2 to B defense
4. Who wins each division and why?
Atlantic: Magic? After the Knicks trade I'm not sure
Central: Hawks again
Midwest: Nuggets? Maybe Embiid takes them over the top
Pacific: Suns again? No clue
5. Lots of teams appear to be flipping the switch (or attempting to) this offseason. Who will be the most successful and why?
Nuggiez because Kipke knows ball and just added Embiid
6. Outside of the Lebron pick that was traded and then jumped, what's your favorite "sliding doors" moment or Butterfly Effect in the league's history?
Me deciding to trade KD to Atlanta and then watching him improve, stay there forever, win 2 titles (so far) and make my Atlanta picks completely worthless
7. What do you think the Vegas odds are for a Hawks threepeat? Would you bet em?

Wasn't too focused on the draft since I didn't have my pick but am excited to see how the top 4 picks develop early in SLN, especially Holmgren.

Offseason is meh since we are on the tank track so to speak. Really excited to bring Suggs up next season to see how he can groove with old head Bron.

No big expectations but hoping to see my young guys make some gains. Wenyen showed some promise guven some minutes so hoping his butt gets a lil bigger.
4. Who wins each division and why?

Central: Hawks. Entering the season as the favorite to repeat.
Midwest: Vancouver still looking really strong.
Pacific: Suns. I think they still have the most complete and talented roster in the division.

LETS FUCKING GO BIRDS! Enough has been said about the big notes on the team, but lets talk about the best change of down back in the game, Kenneth Fucking Gainwell! Not to mention the best tandem TE duo since Gronk/Hern in Goedert/Calcaterra. Dont even get me started on the defensive side of the ball. #gobirds #flybirds

Finished 24 and started 25 on an Ed O'Neil kick (LOL) but finished Modern Family (11 seasons) in October --> The Little Giants (annexation of Puerto Rico)--> Married With Children (11 seasons) beginning of January... and he is an absolute treasure. Then finished a rewatch of 30 Rock last week (shoutout @SWAMP STEVEN and now rewatching Psych which is an all time comedy detective show (up there with Monk) and watching Night Agent on Netflix. Oh yeah and also finished the first season of Severance somewhere in there as well and just got my GFs dad's apple TV so will be starting Mythic Quest and watching season 2 of Sever when the whole season is out.
