Yea so im currently not home so ill start later but for now, here this goes: s/o Tyler and Ashes for the order and picks so far

File: draft/draftplayers-pot.htm

Jesses Whimsical Draft Board: https://simleaguenirvana.com/viewtopic.php?t=5785

Alright it is 11:31 est and we have already gotten to GXs pick. Time to make up and some non live analysis.

DRAFT(LOTTO):
1. Golden State Warriors — Erick Dampier Jr. — C — Mississippi State
Analysis: Mantypas might be the new Fortune Teller Baba after calling the Warriors jump the night before. Never thought it was possible but here we are. I was torn b/w the Damp and BamBay. I will write how i viewed Bamba under my analysis for Charlotte and stick to Dampier here. Logic won out when i chose him. I think his longterm outlook is a safer bet and needed a legit two way big to pair with Boogie long term. Is he the fun choice here? For some of you, probably, for me, no. Was he the right choice? Only time will tell, but i do believe there were only two guys worthy of the first pick and i got one.
Fun Fact: Last time Golden State had the 1st overall pick, the team with 2nd overall was the Charlotte Hornets. Lets hope things work out better for me this go round.
Fun Fact 2: Last player the Warriors drafted from Mississippi State was Monta Ellis(was on his listed college though IRL highschool).

Grade: Really wish i knew how to include polls bc i would love to let the people vote from now on.

2. Charlotte Hornets — Bamba Touray — C — Kansas
Analysis: Okay so i view Bamba as a carbon copy of Chet, with less blocks and slightly less pos def. Though he isnt as ready as Dampier, if his potential hits then this could be a longterm boom for Jackie boy. Yeah i thought Dampier and Bamba would go 1-2 in any order and it worked out as such. Bamba fits in as the PF for the Hornets, who already have their some fun bigs in Jaylen and Jayden, and young wings The Kid Dooney Johnson and Lincoln Cosby. Next step, PG.

Grade: Maybe tomorrow

3.Sacramento Kings — Shalen Sheppard — PF — USC
Analysis: Leave it to Jesse to consistently fall in love players from the island of misfit toys. Jesse gives no fucks when it comes to board value(even his own board:https://simleaguenirvana.com/viewtopic.php?t=5785) or see the Brandon Clarke pick, and it usually? works out. Guess thats what playing this game the longest does. I really have zero issue with this pick, Shalen is the best rebounder in the file and the second best outside rating from a front court player. He has the makings for a I nside: B / Outside: A- / Def: B+ / Reb: A- longterm. Seems safer than Bentley but who tf knows.

4. Portland Trailblazers — Bentley Lusakueno — PF — Georgia Tech
Analysis: So i uhm looked at Bentley’s profile and gave a solid thought to taking him numero uno. That lasted all of 2 mins until i looked at that Dampy Dump but hey, the thought was there. Bentley looks to be someone who will get to the line and be an extremely efficient big. Now the scary part, which i admire Sam for consistently not giving two fucks about. Bentley will need his pos def and or reb to pop to make this pick worth it. He is clearly going to be a bucket on offense, but when it comes to Big Man Tings, this is a shot in the dark. Sam and I never thought we would be picking in the top 4, so fuck it, why not fuck around and find out.

5. Indiana Pacers — Jan Cerdan — SF — Espana
Analysis: I ponder whether to incite another “fuck you Clint” from Tonger or to say positive things here, 🤔. Guess we find out together, huh Tong. Cerdan is scary good at rebounding for a wing and im lowkey surprised he got past Jesse. Look at those combine games for fuck sake. Dudes only “negative” is that he is mid at defense. All you people are sluts for wing rebounding and his “so-so defense” really scared you into letting him fall to 5? 👀. I only wonder what this does to Karims legacy in Indiana lol. Except for the fact that the two of them will be interchangeable at 2/3. My real question for Tonger is, do you move one of them to SG now, in the case that they both reach B rebounding at SF? Just a thought. See, wasnt that better than my grade for Karim last year?

6. Minnesota Timberwolves — AJ Williams — SF — Roll Tide Roll Alabama — fook yea
Analysis: My brodie Pankin makes a solid choice here with AJ Williams. Upon closer examination, Williams is a great choice that Pankin can put at the 2 or 3, not be an option, and just give good minutes long term. I really like him next to Ace Bailey if Pankin can resign him. Damn, AJ’s camps seem pretty straight forward as well. At the end of the day, there were guys higher up on the scouted pot board but most the players we have seen to get tagged with should be a good 3/4/5th starter tend to hit said target(*small data sample from my brain w zero research behind statement). Nice building block Pankin.

7. Chicago Bulls — Adan Diggs — SG — Arizona
Analysis: Do i go after this pick? Do i respect my tree grandpappy? Does he even read this? How much wood could a woodchuck chuck if a woodchuck could chuck wood? Questions: Lets find some answers. Yeah cool, 2nd year of rebuild, why not take a shot on that highest scouted pot left who could also get that teen pot boost. Sure, fine, understandable. Nope yeah, im stupid and misplayed how many SG/wings Matt drafted last year, dass on me. Yeah, you got Bruce Branch at SF who had a stellar rookie season and NDL stud PG, Beckham Black, marinating and only 20 going into yr two down there. Oh wait, no fuck you, not fuck me. You do already have Ament at the 3 and BB at the 2. ADAN DIGGS ISNT EVEN BB SO WTF. Skip to my lou 2.0 didnt catch your fancy? Nah ill chill, this pick is fine. You know he has decently high pot based on notes and you have ur wings set, so why not take a swing at this point with no legit FC guys on the board. I still dk about the woodchuck but we totes went after this pick. I guess i showed a lil respect? He wont read this, that i know.

8. Los Angeles Lakers — Isaiah Hamilton — SF — Michigan State
Analysis: Alright George, you came for me as soon as i started so get ready for this. “Weaknesses: Defense is very disappointing.” Shall i continue? Nope, thats all i got. Thought i was about to read about some bad handles or any ref to his rebounding(could be good/could be bad = fun) but i got stonewalled by how spicy Isaiah’s offense is. Now that B handles can be a blessing and a curse, gotta give the dude some burn to see how his turnovers look to decide on if he needs handles. But yeah, George, you took an offensive juggernaut here who might do fuck all else so just CAMP HIM FOR THE LOVE OF GOD and make him elite. POR FAVOR. I feel like no matter what, you get a microwave scorer here which will always have value so based on the board and profiles, nice choice. But if you dont camp him then id be hurt.

9. Milwaukee Bucks — Quintus Sugarman — PG — SDSU
Analysis: I somewhat wish i was a giant cocaine dealer and this name would be my alias…maybe in another life, oh well. So, if it wasnt for one of the greatest names to cross the SLN database yet, i still believe another factor made this choice easy. “Incredible steals”. Excuse me? IncREDibLe?!?! Dare i say never before have i ever before? Derek usually makes me cream my pants with how he maneuvers the draft and while i am still clearly DAMP, i wont go stupid regardless of the Incredible. This isnt even me bitching about skip to my deux or the fourth installment in the Rider franchise.
Nah i had to stop myself before i went negative because i went too ham on Matt and GX and i dont like it. Sugarman is a fun pick. I like it, i like it a lot. Could lead to some legit promotions in Milwaukee.

— Lil Blog Break before Bed —
Yeah, first and foremost, probs went too negative w Matt and GX and i feel bad about it. I might change it up tomorrow, so my bad fellas. Wanna do more research anyways on em.
